Meatloaf Made Better With Ground Flaxseed

Remove the breadcrumbs from your meatloaf and replace them with ground flaxseed for a beautiful, nutty flavor that will make your other ingredients pop out.

Just a little onion, garlic, and ketchup, combined with the ground flaxseed, can be combined with other ingredients like basil, oregano, and chopped parsley.

Use organic ketchup and read the label on your ketchup carefully. Too many contain high fructose corn syrup or other harmful items.

How to Make It:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Mix your ground sirloin with the onion, salt, pepper, egg and ground flaxseed in a large bowl.

  3. Coat an 8×4, foil-lined baking sheet, then coat it with cooking spray.

  4. Shape your mix into evenly covering the baking sheet.

  5. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until your thermometer registers 160 degrees.

  6. Cut into 8 pieces and serve!
